Lower U-values equal advanced thermal efficiency

Thermal Efficiencies

U-values measure how effective a material is as an insulator. The lower the U-value, the less heat is lost and the more insulation the material provides.

Old window glass is a very poor insulator and can leave your home feeling cold and uncomfortable. As the energy efficiency is reduced, the cost of heating your home increases — and so too does your carbon footprint.

At Energlaze we specialise in providing glazing solutions to increase the comfort of your home and lower your heating bills. New Fineo vacuum insulated double-glazing has a U-value of just 0.7  — that’s 12.5% more energy efficient than triple glazing.
